Since he will be out of town for five days, the web comic will be on hold until his return. I have a new post going live at midnight on the 24th. So please be patient for Greg's return. Hopefully, once he returns, we can concentrate on getting more done to the web comic.
Meanwhile, I'm also focusing some attention to another web comic called Tears and Pain, written by Gaelyn Thorne. I'm doing the illustration work - keeping it pretty simple - sketches and quick renders in Photoshop. Gaelyn sends me the text for each frame. The story is very interesting. I hope that I do his ideas justice. I know I'm not quite on par with Greg's work or style, but it does get me drawing again.

I'll post a sample strip for your viewing pleasure.
Not much new on the home front. Dad is out of the hospital and is steadily declining. He's 86 and I'm sure his surgery last month took a lot out of him. On top of it, my elder brother has managed to rip $38K from him... bought his kid a new computer (kid graduated from high school and was bragging about it on facebook). My other siblings have contacted Adult Protection in Florida over it and other problems. Needless to say, I'm rather upset... first of all that he did that to my parents and secondly, why does he merit the money? Nah, I'm not going there... hopefully, Origins goes well and I don't have to worry so much about getting another 'day' job.
